Little Free Libraries

To accommodate the vast area of the Shire of Chittering, the Bindoon Library has installed Little Free Libraries around the Shire. You can find them at the Wannamal Rest Area, Wannamal; The Julimar Rest Area, Lower Chittering; The Carty Reserve Rest Area, Chittering; John Glenn Park, Muchea; Corner of Santa Gertrudis Drive and Muchea East Road, Lower Chittering.

Little Free Libraries are a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange. Anyone may take a book or bring a book to share. The Bindoon Library checks the Little Free Libraries monthly to restock and tidy them, but if you do happen to notice an issue in the meantime, please give us a call on 9576 4610 so we can attend to it sooner.

If you have a large volume of books to donate to the Little Free Libraries, we ask that you get in contact with the Bindoon Library as over filling the bench seats can cause them to bulge and break. You are welcome to drop off donations to the Bindoon Library, or we can make alternative arrangements.
