Chittering Cemetery

The Chittering Cemetery is located at 509 Gray Road, Bindoon. It is approximately five kilometres from the centre of Bindoon townsite. It is a bush cemetery, nestled among native trees and shrubs.

It consists of several plot areas, a Niche Wall for the placement of ashes, and areas of contemplation. The Cemetery has only been in commission since 2003 and the Shire has begun, in consultation with the local community, beautifying and upgrading of the facilities already there. In the future we intend to provide a shelter for family and friends to gather and celebrate your loved ones, a Memorial Garden, upgrades to the Niche Wall, upgraded pathways, and areas to relax and visit. Pre-need reservations are available for both Burial Plots and Niche Wall requirements.
