The Shire of Chittering will enter the Prohibited Burning Time from Friday, 10 November 2023.
The Department of Fire & Emergency Services have amended burning restrictions for the Shire of Chittering commencing Friday, 10 November 2023.
The Prohibited Burning time has been brought forward in response to the escalating fire danger across Western Australia.
The Fire and Emergency Services Commissioner Darren Klemm AFSM has stated that the decision was prompted by the increasing bushfire risk across large parts of Western Australia.
